The Ultimate Diwali Gift Guide

I can't think of a better time to celebrate Diwali more than in 2020, am I right?!

If you're not familiar, Diwali is the Indian “festival of lights" - a holiday that celebrates the triumph of good over evil. This year, it will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14th and the festivities span over five days. Because Diwali is celebrated by so many people worldwide, not just in India, traditions are diverse and different. However, there are a few common themes, including the lighting of candles, gathering of families, and giving of gifts.

Although my parents converted from Hinduism to Christianity before I was born, we still always celebrated Diwali. Celebrating light, and talking about being light was always important to them! I have such sweet memories celebrating Diwali growing up! We would dress up and go to my aunt's house to have a big Indian meal with all of our extended family. Now, we do sparklers with the kids, eat Indian food of course, and talk about being a light in this world!

Whether you've celebrated Diwali for years, or simply looking to incorporate a fun new tradition into your 2020, try these fun diffuser blends or hit the EASY BUTTON when buying gifts for loved ones with my 2020 Diwali Gift Guide.

May Light shine upon you, envelop you, and guide you for all your days.

"The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5
